Trump administration says it will take aim at online counterfeits, seek tougher enforcement

The measures, laid out Friday by the Department of Homeland Security, seek to take "immediate action" against counterfeit goods by imposing fines and other penalties on marketplaces such as eBay, Alibaba and Amazon, where the majority of products are sold by third-party merchants.
