Global real estate firm buys Houston commercial real estate company

One of Houston's noteworthy homegrown commercial real estate firms has been acquired by Chicago-based Cushman & Wakefield. Cushman & Wakefield (NYSE: CWK) paid an undisclosed amount to purchase Colvill Office Properties, which currently directs leasing and marketing efforts for 17 million square feet of Class A office space in Houston.
