Welcome to S.F.: Visitor numbers break another record

Record numbers of tourists just keep coming to the city — well, at least last year they did. The San Francisco Travel Association reported Thursday morning that a record 26.2 million people who visited the city in 2019, a 1.4% increase over 2018. It was the 10th straight year the visitor number set a record, the association said. Visitors spent $10.2 billion, up 2.7% over 2019. Those figures include all spending on meetings and conventions.
