Researchers at Ohio State University's Wexner Medical Center have quickly developed components to help speed coronavirus testing in response to a nationwide shortage of supplies. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration this week approved an OSU-made formulation for the sterile, buffered saline solution needed to store the virus without destroying it after a nasal swab.
