Massachusetts residents will be required to wear a face covering when they can’t stay socially distant from one another, Gov. Charlie Baker said Friday. The requirement, which is set to go into effect on Wednesday, May 6, applies to all workers and customers of businesses and organizations that remain open to the public during the coronavirus pandemic.
