The U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky on Monday upheld a statewide ban on mass gatherings, while saying a ban on travel between states didn't pass constitutional muster. Both measures were put in place by Gov. Andy Beshear in March in order to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus. A federal case had been filed challenging the bans.
