The Southeastern Conference has made its long-awaited decision on plans for the 2020 college football season in light of the Covid-19 pandemic. The Birmingham-based SEC announced on Thursday afternoon that it will transition to a 10-game, conference-only schedule for 2020. The league has also pushed back the start date of the season to Sept. 26. The SEC Championship Game will be moved back to Dec. 19, as well.
