Hawaii one step closer to launching pre-travel testing program for visitors from Japan

Travelers from Japan could soon have the option to bypass Hawaii’s 14-day mandatory quarantine. The state Department of Health announced Wednesday that it has approved the Covid-19 nucleic acid amplification test authorized by Japan’s Ministry of Health as an accepted testing procedure for the pre-travel testing program.
