Shocking moment alleged officers tase and arrest mistakenly identified black man in Los Angeles
The shocking moment is captured as two men and a woman who claimed to be officers with the "USFA" tase and arrest a mistakenly identified black man in Los Angeles after previously trying to enter the wrong home. The incident began with aggressive knocking and a demand to enter the home of the filmer, Cris, despite no warrant being shown or any ID being produced by the man claiming to be an officer. "None of your business, that's my badge number," said the man in the video. "What's your name and badge number? And under what law and grounds are you trying to enter?" repeated the filmer, Cris. "You're a tenant in this building bud, you don't have any rights," said the man. Cris told Newsflare that the men and woman purported to be part of the "United States Fugitive Authority," which does not exist. The US Marshalls does have a division for fugitive apprehension, which according to their website, is "the federal government’s primary agency for fugitive investigations. The Marshals have the broadest arrest authority among federal law enforcement agencies." Later, Cris and his cousin, Keith, are walking around Culver City, California when the same man, this time with another man and woman, apprehend Keith and bring him to the ground, claiming that Keith is a suspect named Cujon. "That's not Cujon!" Cris shouts in the video as a heated exchange takes place with the group now detaining Keith physically as the woman tries to block the filming. "They never asked for my ID, they never provided theirs either," Keith tells Newsflare. The woman tries to block Cris from filming the incident, while the two men physically apprehend Keith. As the video ends, one of the men fires his taser at Keith, who does not appear to be struggling. Keith tells Newsflare that he was arrested but released shortly after.
