In late October, as the world was transfixed by the final U.S. Presidential debate, U.S. authorities removed Sudan from the list of state sponsors of terrorism. With Sudan removed, the list has been reduced to just three countries, Iran, Syria, and North Korea. While it was on that list, all forms of cooperation between U.S. and Sudanese entities were banned.
