Hundreds of Kurdish protesters rally outside US consulate in Thessaloniki, Greece
Hundreds of demonstrators gathered outside the US consulate in Thessaloniki, Greece on Thursday (October 17) to protest against the Turkish military operation in Northern Syria and the treatment of Kurdish allies by the US government. The protesters held Kurdistan flags and signs reading "Stop killing Kurdish children, Erdogan." On Thursday night, US Vice President Mike Pence announced he and Turkish President Erdogan agreed to a ceasefire halting Turkey's incursion into northern Syria.
