China is moving forward with its threat to retaliate against the U.S. by raising tariffs on $60 billion worth of American goods. CBS News White House correspondent Ben Tracy joined CBSN with more.

Trump Escalates Tariff Battle With China According to CNN, $200 billion in Chinese goods have been given hikes by the U.S. Affected exports will now see tariffs jump to 25%. They were previously at 10%. The move comes as trade talks stall between the U.S. and China. CNN adds that the U.S. president's administration is claiming that China is retreating from previous trade commitments. In response to America's move, the Chinese government says countermeasures will be taken.
