Judge Rules Epstein Victims Aren't Entitled To Damages
A group of women who said Jeffrey Epstein sexually abused them are not entitled to money damages from the United States. This, despite federal prosecutors having kept them in the dark about the financierโ€™s lenient non-prosecution agreement more than a decade ago. Reuters reports U.S. District Judge Kenneth Marra in West Palm Beach, Florida, made the ruling on Monday. Judge Marra also rejected the womenโ€™s bid to void the non-prosecution agreement, as Epsteinโ€™s death made the issue moot.
