Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff — the face of the Democratic-led House impeachment inquiry and frequent target of the president’s — used a Monday night appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” to clap back at Trump.

“I spend half my day inside his head, apparently,” quipped the California congressman. “I gotta tell you: It’s pretty scary in there. [I do] everything I can do to avoid all the marbles rolling around.”

Schiff told Kimmel that since becoming Trump’s sparring partner, his life “has changed a lot.” “When I walk down the street, I get a different reaction,” Schiff explained. “Very extreme, mostly positive, but sometimes not so much.”

Trump began his war on Schiff long before the impeachment trial, calling him a “liar” and a “leaker” over two years ago on Twitter and branding him “little.” The insults evolved as Trump began calling Schiff a “pencil-neck,” which is now a barb the congressman’s own daughter uses against him when they’re not seeing eye-to-eye.

“Looking at your neck and it doesn’t seem pencil-y at all,” Kimmel said. “In fact, I would argue that Trump has a big, fat, orange neck.”

“You would be right,” Schiff said before sharing his collar size is about 16.5.

“Perfectly reasonable!” exclaimed Kimmel, who then assured Schiff that Trump appearing “fixated” on him is just an indicator that he’s doing his job.
