Senate debates protest resolutions, agrees on none

Senate Leaders debated dueling resolutions Tuesday. While both supported the peaceful protests in response to George Floyd's death, the Democrats also condemned the clearing of peaceful protesters near the White House. Both were blocked. (June 2)
