According to a report by Reuters, on Tuesday, Iran's armed forces chief of staff warned US forces in the region of a "firm response, a day after Washington designated Iran's elite Revolutionary Guards as a terrorist organization. Fars news agency quoted Major General Mohammad Baqeri as saying, "The Islamic Republic and its powerful and sacred state will certainly not remain silent about this unwise decision.
