Canada's and Iran's foreign ministers to meet on Friday

Canada's Foreign Minister Francois-Philippe Champagne will meet Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Friday to discuss Tehran's shooting down of a Ukrainian airline last week, killing all 176 people on board, including 57 Canadians.

Foreign ministers pay respects to Iran plane victims
Dominic Raab and foreign ministers from Canada, Ukraine, Sweden and Afghanistan lit candles and observed a silence to remember the 176 people who died when a passenger plane was shot down in Iran on the 8th of January. The group are meeting to discuss the need for a thorough investigation and how to secure full cooperation from Iranian authorities to achieve closure, accountability, transparency and justice - including compensation - for the families and loved ones of the victims.
