WHO Decides Not To Declare International Health Emergency Over Ebola Outbreak In DRC

On Friday The World Health Organization decided not to declare the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo an international health emergency.

The chairman of WHO’s emergency committee said an international health emergency declaration was unnecessary, citing the quick deployment of international health resources and the impending use of an experimental vaccine.
