Majority Of Americans Blame Trump For The Government Shutdown

A new poll from The Washington Post and ABC News says that a majority of Americans blame President Donald Trump and the GOP for the ongoing partial government shutdown, which is now the longest in U.S. history.

According to Business Insider, results of the poll show 53% blaming Trump and Republican lawmakers, while 29% blame Democrats.

The poll also found that 54% of Americans oppose Trump's proposed wall along the southern border, opposed to 42% who are in favor.
