ROUGH CUT.

NO REPORTER NARRATION.

Protesters hurled kicks and debris at a police van in Paris on Saturday (March 16) in the 18th round of ''yellow vests'' protests.

A number of protesters attempted to jump inside the vehicle before being dispersed by police.

Thousands of protesters have marched in Paris and other cities across France since the start of the movement in November.

The movement started to oppose a planned fuel tax rise but has since then developed into a broader revolt against the government and President Emmanuel Macron.

The protests have seen numbers decrease in recent weeks, but the "yellow vests" are expecting bigger numbers on Saturday.
