ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Pete Buttigieg, the first openly gay U.S. presidential candidate, was confronted by an anti-gay protester at his rally in Des Moines, Iowa on Tuesday.

A heckler yelled "remember Sodom and Gomorrah," to which Buttigieg responded, "the good news is, the condition of my soul is in the hands of God but the Iowa caucus is up to you."
