ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) Denver FBI Special Agent in Charge Dean Phillips on Wednesday said authorities in Miami had alerted Colorado officials to Sol Pais' suspicious activity before a mass police search and her eventual death by a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Phillips said she was considered a credible "threat" after she flew to Denver and procured a weapon.

The 18-year-old woman the FBI had described as "extremely dangerous" and "infatuated" with the Columbine massacre was reportedly found dead on Wednesday, after a massive police serach.

More than 400,000 Denver-area students were told to stay home from school after reports that Pais had flown from Miami to Denver on Monday, and bought a pump-action shotgun and ammunition, three days before the 20th anniversary of the Columbine massacre.
