Fight Brewing Over New York City's Proposed Pipeline Project

According to a report by Earther, over five years have passed since a major new natural gas pipeline entered the boundaries of New York City.

In the time since then, the city has reportedly undergone a massive building boom, adding some 24,000 new housing units.

However, Earther reports, each of those new buildings require more energy for heating, and local utilities are determined to supply them using natural gas.
