2nd Oil Spill In Two Months Closes Houston Ship Channel

According to a report by Reuters, officials said that a barge carrying gasoline capsized and leaked its cargo into the Houston Ship Channel near Bayport, Texas, following a collision on Friday with a 755-foot tanker.

US Coast Guard officials said that while salvage divers were on site, it remains unclear how much gasoline spilled out of the beached barge, which partially sank.
