Trump's Tough-Talking Rhetoric On China May Backfire In Re-Election Campaign

Trade talks between the United States and China ran into serious trouble last week as Beijing backtracked on some key agreements and President Donald Trump placed higher tariffs on hundreds of billions of dollars of Chinese goods, with more to follow.

When he ran for president in 2016, candidate Trump delighted crowds with his harsh rhetoric on China.

But according to Reuters, while he's likely to keep talking tough as he runs for 2020, the reception may not be quite as euphoric.
