American Airlines Attempts To Restore Consumer Confidence By Having Executives Fly On 737 Max

Business Insider reports that American Airlines has announced it will fly its senior executives on the Boeing 737 Max to show the aircraft is safe.

The 737 Max is currently grounded worldwide but is scheduled to return to the skies once a critical software upgrade is approved by the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

Doug Parker, CEO of American Airlines Group, told investors that executives and staff would take test flights on the plane once the FAA approved it to fly again.
