103-Year-Old Woman Sets Record in 50 Meter Dash at National Senior Games

A 103-year-old woman set a world record on June 17 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, in the 50 meter dash at the National Senior Games.

Geoff Grammer shared footage of Julia β€œHurricane” Hawkins finishing the race, setting a record for the women’s 100-plus age division with a time of 21.06.

Hawkins later ran the 100 meter dash on June 18, finishing in a time of 46.07.
