U.S. Human Trafficking Report Downgrades Saudi Arabia & Cuba

According to a report by Reuters, on Thursday, the US State Department released its annual human trafficking report, demoting both Saudi Arabia and Cuba to countries that failed to meet minimum US anti-trafficking standards.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Ivanka Trump, a top adviser to her father the president, released the 2019 Trafficking in Persons report at a State Department ceremony.
