Mexico signs USMCA trade deal presented by Trump administration

Mexico ratified the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) this week.

According to Reuters, the deal replaced the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).

Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said the approval was “very good news.” Mexico’s Senate voted 114 in favor with only four votes against it, Lopez Obrador said the deal would help Mexico’s relations with the U.S.
