Mexico signs USMCA trade deal presented by Trump administration

Mexico ratified the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) this week.

According to Reuters, the deal replaced the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).

Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said the approval was β€œvery good news.” Mexico’s Senate voted 114 in favor with only four votes against it, Lopez Obrador said the deal would help Mexico’s relations with the U.S.
