House Democrats Deliver Proposal To Reinstate Aid To Central America

Democrats in the House of Representatives on Friday proposed reinstating millions of dollars in aid to El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras that was previously cut off by the Trump administration.

The proposal was inside a bill to provide $4.5 billion in humanitarian assistance to Central America in order to address the increase in migrants at the Mexico-U.S. border.
