People Under 30 Are Spending Way Less on 'Fun' A new report suggests that people under 30 are spending less on non-housing items than the same age group did in 2001.

The Resolution Foundation found that under-30s are spending 7% less than that age group did two decades ago.

Spending by over-65s has risen by 37%.

The research also suggests that early 30s are paid 3% less than someone born 10 years earlier.

Study authors, via CNN The study infers that these stresses stem from anxiety over income, cost of housing and cost of care.
