27 Republicans join Democrats to block Trump from war with Iran

The House passed an amendment that would bar President Donald Trump from taking military action against Iran.

The measure was sponsored by Democratic Rep.

Ro Khanna of California and Republican Rep.

Matt Gaetz of Florida.

The measure passed with the support of 27 Republicans, says Business Insider.

The measure would prohibit federal funds from being used for a military action against Iran without approval from Congress.
