Donald Trump Tells Congresswomen of Color to 'Go Back' Home In a Twitter tirade on July 14, President Trump called for multiple Democratic congresswomen to “go back” to where they came from.

The women he attacked were Ayanna Pressley, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar.

Donald Trump, via Twitter His rhetoric is being condemned by many as racist, as saying “go back to your country” is often used in xenophobic and Islamophobic attacks.

His statement is also inaccurate, as all of the women, except for Omar who became a refugee in 1991, were born in the United States.
