It Took 30 Seconds For Police To Take Down Dayton Mass Murderer

A gunman attacked revelers outside a bar in Dayton, Ohio, early on Sunday.

Reuters reports the man killed nine people and wounded 27 others.

Dayton's police chief said Connor Betts was wearing a mask and ear protection and was armed with an assault-style rifle and shotgun.

However, the police chief said Betts was taken down by officers within 30 seconds of firing his first shots.

Authorities do not know yet why Betts, a 24-year-old white male from Bellbrook, Ohio, launched his attack.
