About half of Democratic hopefuls did not qualify for the upcoming debate, making it a one-night event.

In order to qualify for the third debate, candidates had to meet polling and fundraising requirements.

The first five to make the cut include Joe Biden, Cory Booker, JuliΓ‘n Castro, Kamala Harris and Beto O'Rourke.

The remaining 5 include Elizabeth Warren, Pete Buttigieg, Amy Klobuchar, Bernie Sanders and Andrew Yang.

The debate will take place on September 12 in Houston, Texas
