Kevin Smith Announces 'Clerks 3' Is In The Works

Kevin Smith fans are getting a sequel to the 1994 independent cult classic "Clerks".

Smith will direct the new project with Jeff Anderson and Jason Mewes returning to their iconic roles.

CNN reports that Smith revealed the film will conclude the story of cinema’s most infamous cashiers.

Smith has said he just started writing the script but has confirmed Brian O’Halloran will return as Dante.

There's no word on a possible release date for the new project.
