US Looks Toward Asylum Seekers To Solve Immigration Problems

Immigration arrests at the U.S. border with Mexico rose 88 percent in fiscal 2019.

According to Reuters, U.S. officials have called the rise in numbers a crisis.

They recently revealed they would try and fight it by expediting the deportation of asylum seekers.

The number of people apprehended or turned away were at its lowest of the year in September.

Yet that number was still 4 percent higher than September of 2018.
