Trump Becomes Fourth President To Face Impeachment Charges

Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives announced impeachment charges against President Donald Trump.

According to Reuters, that makes Trump the fourth president to ever face possible impeachment.

While the House might vote to impeach Trump next week, the Senate will vote in early 2020.

To achieve impeachment, at least 20 Senate Republicans would have to vote to remove Trump from office.

The formal charges accuse Trump over abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.
