Teen gets 35,000 people to sign to petition to fix the worst part of the Super Bowl

16-year-old Frankie Ruggeri is tired of watching the Super Bowl on a school night.

So, he has started a petition to move next years NFL championship to Saturday.

Ruggeri says that a Saturday game will bring in more money and views.

He also states that most NFL playoff games are already held on a Saturday.

Over 36,000 people have signed the teenager's petition on Change.org.

Ruggeri plans to cheer for the 49ers in this year's Super Bowl.

A 2019 Workforce Institute survey says that 17 million U.S. people plan to skip work the day after the big game.

Every Super Bowl game has been played on a Sunday for the past 52 years
