Black was the colour of choice for many stars at this year's BAFTA Film Awards, held at London's Royal Albert Hall on Sunday (February 2).

A-listers including Margot Robbie, Saoirse Ronan and Lily-Rose Depp opted for all black ensembles.

Sparkly details balanced out the blacks and pink also proved popular among this year's attendees, with actresses Florence Pugh, Laura Dern, Scarlett Johansson and Renee Zellweger rocking different hues.

Britain's Duchess Kate, wife of Prince William, opted for a sustainable choice, wearing a recycled Alexander McQueen dress she first wore in 2012 while on tour in Malaysia.

Kate is known for wearing her outfits multiple times.

Men, meanwhile, kept it classic with black and white and velvet this year.
