Sunday, March 8 is International Women's Day!
To mark the occasion, one group is raising funds to their mission of empowering girls in the impoverished nation of Kenya.
Joining us to discuss the "Jammin 4 Kenya" event and how Mercy's Light provides crucial support to young women in need is Mrs. Wisconsin America 2019 Michelle Weisheim and Danny Faustmann from Guitar for Life Studios.
Jammin 4 Kenya is happening this Saturday, March 7 from 5 pm to midnight at Saloon on Calhoun in Brookfield.
