Stop the potential spread of the virus here was put into practice today as restaurants all over town are getting used to a new normal.

Kq2's ron johnson is live now at one of our area restaurants with more on how they're adapting to the change, ron?

That's right jodie, i'm here at texas road house now where usually its packed in here, but as you can see that's just not the case today after staff here made the switch to take out only.

They like all of the other eating places in town adapting to this new normal.

Today was day one of the city's ban on dine-in restaurants and bars.

Scenes like this likely playing out all across town with empty seats and, really just not many people out and about.

We talked to management here at texas roadhouse who shared with us what it's like running these kinds of places in a time like this.
