First coronavirus case in Otsego County

The person who tested positive in Otsego County was in contact with someone from Rensselaer County who was later diagnosed with the virus.

Herkimer county has seven.

The health department says, this person was in contact with someone from a different county who tested positive for the virus.

The director for the otsego county health department says, the positive test came back this morning.

Thsi person has been in quarantine since march 18th they would not provide us with an age, or a location of where this person lives, but she says she doesn't believe the person has been in contact with anyone since they started showing symptoms. they assured us they are closely monitoring this individual.
