This adorable video shows a super-cute baby doing her morning work out for us all to follow - including leg lifts and the plank.

Little Gwendolyn Egan sprang into action after she caught sight of herself in a full length mirrored wardrobe - and started to show off her moves.

Mum Jessica, 40, and dad Joshua, 39, filmed her and realised it looked exactly like Gwendolyn, who has Down Syndrome, was leading a fitness class.

The video features Gwendolyn doing arm lifts and raises, leg lifts, side leg raises, side kick knee bends, the plank, and high-fiving herself in the mirror.

The 15-month-old was filmed in Utah, USA, and the video was published to social media on March 15.

Gwendolyn's parents, who live in Salt Lake City, Utah, said: "She was very interested in seeing how her body works, and watching it all in the mirror for the first time.

"Gwendolyn is full of life and fun.

She had to spend two months in the hospital when she had heart surgery, but she did not let it slow her down.

"She is learning to speak and can say 'mama' and 'dada' and she is on her way to being able to walk as well.

"As her parents, we hope to show the world that living with Down syndrome is a gift.

It makes Gwendolyn so special, yet at the same time, just like any baby.

"We live in a world where we are trying to be accepting of people regardless of shape, size, or ethnicity.

"But people with Down syndrome, and any disability, are still being left behind." Gwendolyn is a two-time heart warrior champion, with both of her surgeries occurring in the past six months.

Her heart is still not operating correctly so she is on supplemental oxygen via a tube in her nose.

This helps her heart pump enough oxygen to the rest of her body.

She will need a third surgery in the next year or so.

Her devoted parents set up her public Instagram account to "show people that Gwendolyn's life is as much worth living as anyone else's".

They added: "Maybe you didn't know anything about Down syndrome, but through Gwen's Instagram and her current "work-out", we hope now you will see what an incredible gift Down syndrome is to the world.

"Gwendolyn has been loved and adored by people from all over the world, and each day we respond to messages to let people know how grateful we are that they love our girl.

She has changed our lives, and we wouldn't have her any other way."
