Shelton."

Josh shelton says, "what was thatike?

Just when you... making the mlb roster right out of the gate?"

(take seth key) seth brown says, "with everything that's going on.

It's just a, it wasn awesome feeling, you know, especially after last year of, um, you know, accomplishing, you know, my dream as far as, you know, playing in the big leagues and, um, you know, having all the hard work i've put in over the years really come to a head and, um, you know, just kind of showed me, i think that, you know, anything is possible and you can do anything you really set your mind to as long as you're willing to put in the work.

And, uh, you know, how much time and pain are you willing to go through to get it?

And, um, it really just kind of, i guess, gave me some confirmation of, you know, all the time i spent, you know, trying to get there and, and having to happen.

It's just a, there was an indescribable feeling of, you know, accomplishment and, um, you know, confirmation."

Josh shelton says, "i have to ask.

You were just hidden absolute bombs in las vegas.

How long are the oakland fans going to have to wait to see their first seth brown bomb?"

(topic key) seth brown says, "i hope not too long.

Uh, you know, it was crazy.

It wasn't for lack of trying.

I'll say that.

Um, but, you know, not just going up there, and i think, you know, my mindset when i was up there, uh, was just to help the team.

Um, you know, i was there to, to, to really help in any way i could.

Uh, for me at that time, all i was thinking about was i need to make contact, need to put up good at-bats.

Uh, you know, that when i came up, you know, those guys grinded all year to put themselves in that spot that they were in, where those games are meaning quite a bit, uh, towards the end with that race.

And so i think my biggest goal was.

I'm not up there to hold anybody back.

I'm up there to help.

So i need to do, i need to have good at bats, i need to put the ball in play.

Um, you know, and so i think for me, i looked at it like, my job right now is to help this team in any way i can.

That means playing good defense.

And that means putting up good at bats.

So.

You know, the, the results as far as homers go, you know, obviously, you know would've loved to hit, you know, a big league homer, but, you know, to me, i was, i was happy with my bats and happy with, i was just helping the team so um, you know, hopefully they don't have to wait too much longer though."

(drop key) josh shelton says, "thanks so much for taking the time to talk with me today.

Good luck.

Stay safe, stay healthy.

And uh, when opening day rolls around, we look forward to seeing you out there in an a's uniform.
