Reported about a confirmed coronavirus case at a starkville nursing home that the state did not list as having an outbreak since then the state included outbreaks in long-term care facilities including several others in our viewing area state health leaders said there's been an outbreak in long term facilities in calhoun, chickasaw, oktibbeha, prentiss and union counties right now there's an investigation into the cases and that investigation includes identifying close contacts of infected individuals for possible exposure.

Nursing homes are considered high risk locations because their residents are older or in poor health
