Some neighbors in winston are speaking out after an apartment complex notified the tenants of a possible coronavirus case.

Last week, tenants got this letter on their doors.

It warns there could be a possible case in the complex.

Management told me they put the notice out as a courtsey& but they won confirm if the case is real or not.?this is very very dangerous.

And peoples lives are at stake, in my own opinion?

But public health officer bob dannenhoffer says this is exactly what he didn want to happen?

Dannenhoffer says a letter like this is what creates panic and rumors in the community.

He says the property management should have gone through public health before releasing a notice like this.

But hippler says the tenants aren the only ones affected&it the entire community.?as soon as something happens in your life, you got to inform the people?

If the complex is a possible hotspot, hippler says it will help the community avoid the area if needed.
