Football shuts down because of coronavirus

The Premier League, Football League Women’s Super League and Scottish leagues have suspended all matches until the weekend of 3-5 April in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

Across Europe, Spain's La Liga, Italy's Serie A and France's Ligue 1 and the German Bundesliga are suspended too.

Uefa has also postponed Champions League and Europa League fixtures next week.
