Behind me is what was a sherwin williams. it's one of the many businesses that was struck here in fort oglethorpe by tonight's gusting winds.

Business owners are frustrated and worriedabout what's going to happen next and officials tell me that they cannot determine whether a tornado actually touch down here in fort oglethorpe until tomorrow morning.

Nothing has been confirmed that we know of.

I've spoken with our e.m.a.

Director steve quinnand he's working with the weather service.

So we'll wait and see what the experts say on that but there's plenty of evidence to indicate that it was some sort of tornado but we'll wait and see what the experts say.

The only thing that we've had a report of so far is minor injuries by a manager of a store in the area but no major injuries.

It did hit some of our residential neighborhoods as well as our business communities.

With the governer's order being in place that probably had some people already home, which is good.

No residential injuries.

We had a few trapped in their homes but no injuries that we know of yet."

At least eight bussinesses suffered damage and a nearbyu apartment complexed had severe flooding.
