Waay31's breken terry spoke with a north albama senator - and doctor - about what the future could look like - breken?

Senator arthur orr said a return to normal will look differently for everyone, especially those who are vulnerable to the coronaviurs.

Orr- people in certain risk categories their lives may be changed forever if they are really concerned about catching this virus until there is a vaccine available across the board.

Doctors say a vaccine is months and maybe more than a year away.

But orr said time is of the essence.

Orr- one of the things that scares me breken is you hear people saying this has to be the new normal until we have a vaccine but it will be almost a miracle from what i hear and read to have one in 18 months.

Until there is a coronavirus vaccine, doctors and politicians expect the message of social distancing, washing hands, and masks to remain the same.

Hudson- eventually we will go back to work in what i'm calling the new normal which is basically incorporating some of these tactics and measures to stop the spread in our daily lives.

So that means seeeing people in masks, and gloves could become the new normal until well into 2021.
